The Area

The residence is in the Grand Hyatt Deer Valley at Deer Valley East Village, on the west side of Jordanelle Reservoir. East Village sits where Deer Valley, Park City, and the Heber Valley converge - which means you are never far from anything.

Getting Here

Salt Lake City International Airport is about 39 minutes away via US Route 40. The route bypasses Park City traffic entirely - one of the more straightforward airport-to-resort drives you will find in the mountain west. The Grand Hyatt also runs a complimentary shuttle to Park City Main Street, so you do not need a car for everything.

Park City

Park City started as a silver mining town and reinvented itself as a ski destination. It hosted events during the 2002 Winter Olympics, and the town has only grown since. Main Street is walkable, lined with restaurants ranging from casual burger spots to upscale dining, plus galleries, shops, and a few genuinely good bars. The Egyptian Theatre hosts films and live events year-round. The resort shuttle from the Grand Hyatt connects you to Main Street.

Heber Valley

Heber City and Midway are about 10-15 minutes south and offer a more laid-back contrast to Park City. The Heber Valley Railroad runs scenic excursions through Provo Canyon. The Homestead Crater in Midway is a natural geothermal hot spring inside a 55-foot limestone dome - you can swim, snorkel, or just float. Midway also has a growing dining and craft brewery scene.
